Emerson Event Updates

It’s been pretty quiet event-wise around Emerson lately (but not music-wise- you can almost always expect someone to be in the music room). However, in the past few weeks students and faculty have participated in many events at and around Emerson Prep, such as a visit to the National Museum of African American History and Culture and hosting a performance by world-renowned mandolin player Carlo Aonzo. More events have been scheduled, like a mindfulness workshop to help manage midterm stress. Pictures and more details from each event to come soon! In the meantime, enjoy a photo from last month of some Emerson students in Walking Club happily frolicking in a park on a Physical Friday. And a link to a clip of Carlo Aonzo playing the mandolin.

Stay hoot-iful, owls!

Surprise! No School on Nov 23!

Our academic schedule allows us the space to add an additional day to our Thanksgiving Break. As we were in session for both Columbus Day and Veteran’s Day, this additional day is well-deserved.

So Emerson will have no school starting on Wednesday, November 23rd, and we will return to classes on Monday, November 28th at the regular time.

We hope that our now having the day before Thanksgiving off might make any travel plans simpler for families, and that you enjoy the holiday all the more.
